Kennebunkport Motor Lodge reminds our guests that travel during the COVID pandemic stay at their own risk. 

   The State of Maine, its communities, and its diverse tourism and hospitality industries know that visitors want to travel to locations that are safe and healthy, and they want to enjoy the communities, businesses and outdoor locations that make Maine so special.

KML has taken all  CDC, FDA, USDEP, and recommended measures to keep guests, staff, and our community safe.

• Extra masks and hand sanitizer will be made available to guests in the office. 

• Effective May 24, 2021 fully vaccinated people do not need to wear face coverings indoors. There are no physical distancing requirements on public indoor and outdoor gatherings.

 CDC recommends you stay home as much as possible and avoid close contact, especially if you are at higher risk of severe illness. Staying in temporary accommodations (hotels, motels, and rental properties) may expose you to the virus through person-to-person contact and possibly through contact with contaminated surfaces and objects.

If you must stay in a hotel, motel, or rental property: Take the same steps you would in other public places—for example, avoid close contact with others, wash your hands often, and wear a cloth face covering. When you get to your room or rental property, clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, handles, desks, phones, remote controls, toilets, and sink faucets. Bring an EPA-registered disinfectant and other personal cleaning supplies, including cloths and disposable gloves. Wash any plates, cups, or silverware (other than pre-wrapped plastic) before using.

KML is taking extra care to make guests safe by cleaning all high-touch surfaces such as tables, doorknobs, light switches, counter tops, handles, desks, remote controls, toilets, and sink faucets. 

CDC currently recommends that travelers bring an EPA-registered disinfectant and other personal cleaning supplies, including cloths, and disposable gloves, to clean their room and specifically high-touch surfaces.

CDC recommends maintaining social distancing guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks and gloves.
